Rekhta Poetry App
The Rekhta app is your gateway to the world of shers and ghazals in three different scripts- Hindi, Urdu and Roman.
My task was to complete a interactive experience for Rekhta app which is a prominent platform for Urdu literature enthusiasts, offering access to a diverse collection of poetry, prose, and learning tools.
The app redesign aimed to enhance user engagement & fresh look. The primary objective was to create a more personalized, interactive, and user-friendly platform while encouraging sustained usage and retention.
A key aspect of the redesign was ensuring that the content and features were presented with clarity and a modern aesthetic, creating an immersive experience that felt more like exploring a literary universe than simply browsing a collection of works. This was achieved by optimizing the app's layout for seamless navigation, leveraging dynamic visuals, and incorporating subtle animation elements to bring the world of Urdu literature to life in an engaging and futuristic way.
We worked closely with a small team and a tight schedule to create an experience that matched our design vision, making Rekhta's content visually engaging and easy to explore.
